貹 (shèng): Wealth
On 27 February 2020, when the number of COVID-19 infections and deaths were burgeoning in Italy, a man named Nicola Zingaretti travelled to Milan. Milan is part of the wider Lombardy region that also happens to be ground zero for the country's coronavirus nightmare. Zingaretti heads the governing Democratic party. He was there for an aperitif with students. "We must not change our habits," Zingaretti wrote in a social media post. "Our economy is stronger than fear: let's go out for an aperitivo, a coffee or to eat a pizza." He subsequently contracted COVID-19.
