This was written during the time the British government declared they wanted the country to achieve herd immunity by practically letting Covid-19 raze through the populace unchecked. Exposing countles lives to the coronovirus and hoping enough of them develop antibodies to combat infection? Madness. 鬧 (nào): To cause a ruckus.
They say 一山不能藏二虎. Based on news reports about panic buying of toilet rolls in certain countries during the early days of the Covid-19 pandemic. 盔 (kuī): Helmet.
The Netherlands is the first country in the world to legalise euthanasia. Under Dutch law, a doctor is allowed to help a severe dementia patient die, provided the patient has had an advance medical directive made when they were still mentally sound. 評 (píng): Comment; criticise.
